Relevant Assignments:

Strategic Procurement Planning. A reduction of 19% and 12% in the supply cost of several raw materials was achieved, saving over $40,000 USD in a 3-month period.  In order to achieve the project, Lean Manufacturing tools were used for this purpose.

Process Improvement and training. Cost reduction of 10% to 18% along the chain process by using Value Stream Mapping and training of personnel on Six Sigma Methodology (DMAIC). Projects were held within Mexico and Dominican Republic.

Continuous Improvement and Change Management. Lean Manufacturing concepts were taught to key process managers using Improvement circles and adapting tools in a multicultural environment.

Education and Training:

He obtained a BS in industrial and systems engineering and a MS in quality and productivity. He is certified in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and as a Shingo Model Facilitator.
