Chris has more than 10 years of experience in Continuous Improvement of manufacturing and service / transactional processes.  His expertise is primarily in Project Management, training and implementation of process improvement techniques.


Areas of Expertise:

Chris is a Field Engineer at The University of Texas at Arlington.  He is an instructor in various classes, provides coaching for newly trained individuals, and works closely with customers on numerous continuous improvement projects.

Scope of Experience:

Chris has worked with dozens of companies in implementing Continual Improvements, including, but not limited to Lean Six Sigma Projects. His experience includes work in a variety of industries, including food and beverage, health care, aerospace, metals, logistics, city government, insurance, banking, construction, oil and gas, connectors, packaging and paint.

Relevant Assignments:

Chris has participated in 7 LSS classes as a Co-Instructor and 5 LSS classes as an assistant including Black Belt and Green Belt.  He has also provided coaching support for several individuals on their projects in support of their certification as LSS Black Belts or Green Belts.

Chris worked as the Project Manager for Safety Training in which ~5,000 City of Dallas employees received job-specific safety training.  Chris has implemented, audited or participated in over 50 Quality Management Programs (AS 9100 or ISO 9001).  Chris has participated in over 20 Lean Kaizen events and has led 1 full-scale DMAIC project.

Prior to his focus on Lean Six Sigma, Chris worked with numerous companies on Lean and Quality improvements.  He also worked with a variety of firms on Lean Enterprise projects including Value Stream Mapping, Setup Reduction, Kaizen Events and Pull Systems.
